One of the most meaningful ways to provide permanent support to the Evans Scholars Program is by establishing an Honorary Endowed Named Scholarship with a gift to the Roland F. McGuigan Endowment Fund. Established in 1989, the endowment fund was created to ensure the future success of the Evans Scholars Foundation.

You can establish your own Endowed Named Scholarship with a minimum gift of $125,000. The Scholarship will be awarded to an Evans Scholars based on the educational interest, geographical region or country club of your choosing, and the designation will follow them throughout their college career. There are three levels to creating an Endowed Named Scholarship:

  • A gift of $125,000 establishes an Endowed Named Scholarship and would cover approximately 25% of the annual cost of one Evans Scholarship in perpetuity.
  • A gift of $250,000, establishes an Endowed Named Scholarship and would cover approximately 50% of the annual cost of one Evans Scholarship in perpetuity.
  • A gift of $500,000 establishes an Endowed Named Scholarship and would fully fund the annual cost of one Evans Scholarship in perpetuity.

All gifts can be payable over five years.

You'll receive annual letters from your Evans Scholars and invitations to Endowed Named Scholarship events, providing a unique opportunity to develop a personal relationship with an Evans Scholar. We’ll also recognize your contribution each year in our Annual Report.
