Building a Legacy at the University of Colorado
We are leading a $6 million capital campaign to help fund a full Scholarship House renovation and addition at the University of Colorado. The extensive project provides structural upgrades and increases living capacity to 60 Evans Scholars. These much needed enhancements ensure a lasting legacy for the Colorado Evans Scholarship chapter.
Renovation and Addition
The renovated Scholarship House includes new heating, plumbing and electrical systems, and features a 2,000-square-foot addition. The ADA-accessible first floor has a new board room, chapter room, game room and kitchen. The building entrance has been rebuilt, featuring a snow melting system. The House has new windows, paint finishes and flooring. The exterior has been updated to included a relocated basketball court, and a plaza with seating, brick paving and landscaping.
The updated and improved Scholarship House will help raise the school’s profile within our Program by attracting students from across the nation to the University of Colorado. The renovated House allows for flexibility as we grow the Program in regard to the Chancellor-Evans Scholarship, which provides tuition opportunities for non-resident Evans Scholars.
