Miami Campaign

Securing a legacy at Miami of Ohio

As part of a larger plan to expand the Evans Scholars Program in both scope and size, leaders are building a new Evans Scholarship House at the University of Miami.

Evans Scholars Foundation officials are leading a $4 million capital campaign to help fund the 24,000-square-foot facility, which will provide coeducational living accommodations for the first time, as well as an updated design for 21st-century student housing. The new facility will open in 2016. View the rendering of the new Scholarship House.

WGA and university officials celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Scholarship House on Sept. 13, 2014 in Oxford. Click here for a photo gallery from the event.

The House will help raise the school’s profile within the Evans Scholars Program by becoming national in scope, attracting students from across the nation to the world-class university. The new building will allow the WGA to send more caddies to Miami University, part of a larger plan to provide 1,000 caddies full scholarships to college by the year 2020.
