Evans Scholars Expo and Job Fair introduce paths to success 


Highlights from the Fifth Annual Expo and Job Fair

The annual Evans Scholars Leadership and Career Expo was held Sunday, Aug. 4, at Chicago Marriott Southwest in Burr Ridge, Ill. Evans Scholars were invited to attend a job fair and career workshops to help prepare them for life after college.

Participating presenters and companies were invited to help Evans Scholars maximize potential, fully leverage opportunities and begin building a foundation for success.

Before the job fair, Scholars heard from three keynote speakers (see bios below), who addressed current challenges in the job market. Topics centered on leadership and setting professional goals.

Companies in attendance at the job fair were Abbott, Accenture, AON, Chicago Catholic Schools, Grant Thornton, ITW, Northern Trust, PwC, William Blair and WGA/ESF.

Andy LaCivita
