Dear Friends of the Evans Scholars Program,

Thank you to all our Par Club members and other generous friends who teed up to support our cause in 2011.

With a record $16.4 million in contributions, we were able to award 230 new Evans Scholarships this year—an increase of 20 scholarships at a time when need is greater than ever. This is a significant accomplishment for this organization and all our stakeholders.

Such success was due in large part to the Match Play Challenge, a first-time initiative that raised $4.4 million in major gifts. 

Our service to the game of golf continues just as strongly. The BMW Championship once again delivered excitement and essential funding for the Evans Scholars program, with proceeds of $1.6 million. The Western Amateur and Western Junior demonstrated yet again why they are premier championships in their class.

It’s a great time for golf, the golf community, and our Evans Scholars—who know we’re committed to doing more than just winning the game. We are sending caddies to college.
