Serving the best interests of golf and our Scholars

The men and women who serve as Directors of the Western Golf Association volunteer to dedicate their time to the game of golf and our caddie scholarship program that sets this organization apart.

WGA Directors serve as liaisons at their golf and country clubs - raising awareness and funds for the Evans Scholars Program. They are advocates for caddying over carts, and helping to build and sustain strong caddie programs. Our Directors volunteer at WGA championships, host fundraisers and participate in special events. They travel the country to interview finalists for the Evans Scholarship. And they are contributors leading by example through their own generous financial support.

"It was a privilege to receive the Evans Scholarship and I want to help others have the same experience."
