Evans Scholars In The News

The work of the Evans Scholars Program continues to be showcased on television stations and in newspapers and magazines across the country. Here are some of the media highlights from this summer.

 

Jimmy Roberts/NBC – Saturday, Sept. 16
Broadcaster Jimmy Roberts’ segment on New Scholar Mackenzie Lim, who overcame leukemia and caddied at Midlothian CC. This aired on NBC’s BMW Championship broadcast.

Morning Drive/Golf Channel – Wednesday, Sept. 13
ES Griffin Bourjaily talks live with Matt Ginella on the Morning Drive during the BMW Championship.

Golfweek’s Beth Ann Nichols’ story on the Caddie Academy, featuring interviews with participants and Program background.

A feature on this year’s New Scholars from Red Run Golf Club selection meeting. WGA Chairman David Robinson speaks about the Program.

USA Today College – June 22, 2017
University of Notre Dame student and Scholar King Fok was featured in USA Today’s “Campus Voices” section, where King shared his journey of being a caddie.
