Friends and Family Night raises nearly $8,000 for ESF

More than 700 supporters of the Evans Scholars Program gathered July 19 on Chicago's South Side for the 12th annual Friends and Family Night at the White Sox game.

Evans Scholars Alumni, current Scholars and their families, as well as participants from the WGA Caddie Academy turned out to watch the Chicago White Sox take on the Los Angeles Dodgers and support caddie scholarships. Half of each specially priced ticket to the baseball game goes directly to the Evans Scholars Foundation.

The event helped to raise nearly $8,000. Prior to the game, Evans Scholars representatives were presented with a check on the field. Those pictured are Jim Feeney, Anne Marie Coultrap, Sam Maciejewski, Ryan O'Hare, Jeremy Schmitt and Mike Rourke.
