Mayno Luetkehans inducted into Caddie Hall of Fame

GOLF, IL -- Mayno Luetkehans, longtime caddie manager at Glen Oak Country Club, was inducted into The Caddie Hall of Fame, which highlights the tradition and importance of caddying by recognizing individuals who have devoted their lives to the game of golf through caddying or by supporting the role of caddies.

Luetkehans, who worked as caddie manager at Glen Oak for 38 years, mentored hundreds of young people, many of whom went on to become Evans Scholars or members of the club themselves.

The Caddie Hall of Fame, founded in 1999 by the Professional Caddies Association and Dennis and Laura Cone, has been administered by the Western Golf Association since 2011.

Luetkehans joins the likes of Chick Evans, Francis Ouimet and Tom Watson The Caddie Hall of Fame.
